My passion for direction begins the first day I get in front of a camera as an actor. While I do my studying acting at the "Institut del Teatre de Barcelona" I "rent" my self as an actor in 10 different courses for cinema schools of Barcelona, which deepened my technical knowledge. After years of work in front of the camera, I finally get the courage to go rear.
In 2000 my first feature film "Everything happens to me," an adaptation of the play "Changes" that I interpreted in Barcelona, in which I collaborated on the screenplay with the author of the work, Toni Martin. I have the luck to have a great cast led by Lola Dueñas, Cristina Brondo and Javier Albala . The favorable reception of the film at the Mostra Valencia Film by the public and critics encouraged me to follow. That started my collaboration with producers who continue to work a long time.
In 2002 release "White Smoke" a thriller starring Jose Sacristan, Adrià Collado, Hector Alterio and Cayetana Guillen Cuervo. In this project I also participated as a writer, it begins to define my taste for the dark thriller.
In 2007 roll "Broken Ties" with Ruth Gabriel, which is a step closer to the research world of the destiny marked by race and where we are born, and by the desire we have to break it, though not easy, although not the desired end.
In 2008 I shot the mini series "The Ratjada" for TV3. In this case, in addition to serving as director and actor, I also produce the project. Rolled in the Catalan coast and carried around the world thanks to the universality of its theme and the big players, once again, that I have in the cast.
During this time I have also made music videos for different groups, advertisements and TV programs.
I still think the great thing about all this is to tell stories, and that the only important thing is to have something to say and a camera to do so.
